2023 CXPE Xiamen Packaging Exhibition

The 2023 Xiamen Packaging Containers, Packaging Products, and Materials Expo (2023CXPE) took place from October 20 to 22 at the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center. This edition of the exhibition aimed to propel the entire packaging products industry chain, leveraging Xiamen's unique attributes as a free trade experimental zone, a Southeast international shipping center, a cross-strait regional financial services hub, and a cross-strait trade center. The event deepened the exchange and collaboration between domestic and international packaging supply chain industries.

Spanning over 30,000 square meters, the expo showcased more than 1,000 international standard booths, focusing on the theme of "Smart Innovation, Integrated Development." The exhibition featured various categories, including pharmaceutical/consumer goods/cosmetic packaging, food/beverage/bakery packaging, gifts and luxury product e-commerce/express logistics packaging, green innovative packaging materials, intelligent automation packaging technology, packaging machinery and equipment, packaging facilities, and consumables. The emphasis was on presenting innovative technological products in packaging products/container/materials and packaging processing, covering the entire packaging product industry chain.

Simultaneously, the event hosted over 10 supporting activities, such as the China Packaging Products Summit Forum, Packaging Containers/Packaging Products/New Materials Special Matchmaking Meeting, Green Packaging Technology Seminar, Packaging Experts Roundtable Dialogue, and New Product Launch, among others. The expo invited leaders from packaging industry associations, experts, scholars, manufacturers, agents, distributors, import/export traders, purchasers, and media to collectively participate. The goal was to explore new directions for industry development and seize new opportunities in market competition.

In addition to the diverse array of packaging products and materials, the exhibition also encompassed vacuum-formed packaging (thermoforming). This technique involved creating packaging through the process of heating a plastic sheet until it was pliable and then forming it into a specific shape using a mold. The inclusion of vacuum-formed packaging added another layer of innovation to the event, highlighting the industry's commitment to staying at the forefront of packaging technology.

Overall, the 2023CXPE was a comprehensive trade platform that connected domestic and international markets, products, and services in the packaging industry, fostering collaboration and advancing the industry's development.
